The Importance of Architects and Urbanists in Today’s Society

A&UBDuring the last day of the FIABCI 65th World Congress, we will explore the final theme, “Architecture & Urban Design.” Topics that will be addressed include:

  • How Our Cities Are Built
  • What Techniques Are Used
  • The History of The World’s Great Monuments
  • How New Ideas Are Created Designed to Change Tomorrow’s Construction Practices
  • What Influence We Can Have on Altering the Property Market Conditions

Please join us for an informative presentation by Rudy Ricciotti, an architect and engineer, who will discuss several of his projects. Following this presentation, João Crestana, President, FIABCI World Council of Developers/Investors, together with Claude Turmes, Member of the European Parliament (EP) and Vice-President of the Green Group in the EP, will host a forum on the role of architects and urbanists.

In the afternoon, real estate professionals will have the opportunity to discover Taichung and Budapest through a City Panorama presented by Jason Hu, Mayor of Taichung and Eva Beleznay, Chief Architect of Budapest.  In addition, there will be a forum focusing on the theme of “International Property Measurement Standards1.”
